The 2024 Heart Health Gala will be taking place on Saturday, April 20, 2024!

Join the Canada Caribbean Heart Health Education as we cooperate and collaborate with other Caribbean community organizations in Canada and Internationally to promote cardiovascular health at our fundraising gala dinner!

In collaboration with International Hope Canada, funds raised at this event will specifically go towards sending medical supplies to support the people of the Caribbean.

Event Information

The CCHHE 2024 Heart Health Gala will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Canad Inns Polo Park.

Time: 6pm reception, 7pm dinner, 8pm keynote address

Where: Canad Inns Polo Park, 1405 St Matthews Ave, Winnipeg

Dr. Asad Junaid received his Medical Degree from the University of Manitoba. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the same university and was a General Practitioner at the Northern Medical Unit, Norway House and in Brandon, Manitoba. He also obtained a Nephrology Fellowship from the University of Minnesota as well as Critical Care Fellowship from the University of Manitoba.

Dr. Junaid is currently, Director of the Manitoba Vascular Health Program and Vascular Laboratory, University of Manitoba and a Lipid Clinic Physician at St. Boniface Hospital
