UPDATED Application Due Date: Sunday March 31, 2024
The Caribbean Canada Heart Health Education Scholarship is awarding four (4) scholarships in the amount of $500.00 each to students accepted into, or currently enrolled, in a post-secondary institute in Manitoba with a declared interest in health as a career.
All applicants:
- Must be a Canadian citizen, OR of Caribbean Heritage (parents or grandparents born in the Caribbean, including Guyana), OR Permanent Resident from the Caribbean, AND resident in Manitoba.
- Must fully complete (typed) and submit a Scholarship Application by email to info@caribbeanhearthealth.ca with Scholarship Application in the subject line, no later than Sunday, March 31, 2024.
- Must write a 300-word essay on how your future career will positively affect the health outcomes for Manitobans.
High School Applicants
(1 scholarship):
• Must have a minimum grade of 85%.
• Must provide a copy of current high school transcript indicating grade.
• Must provide a Letter of Acceptance from post-secondary institute stating acceptance as a full-time student for the upcoming academic year.
• Must write a 300-word essay on how your future career will positively affect the health outcomes for Manitobans.
Undergraduate Student Applicants
(1 scholarship):
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Must provide proof of enrollment in a health-related program.
- Must write a 300-word essay on how your future career will positively affect the health outcomes for Manitobans.
Graduate Student Applicants
(2 scholarships):
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Must provide proof of enrollment in a health-related program.
- Must write a 300-word essay on how your future career will positively affect the health outcomes for Manitobans.
